Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of ContentRails, operated by Better Version, Inc., a Delaware corporation. By creating an account or using ContentRails, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

ContentRails reads the websites you add as projects, builds a profile of each site's audience and voice (its Project DNA), researches blog topics, and writes, rewrites and — if you turn it on — publishes blog posts for those sites, with the level of automation you choose per project.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials and any publishing secrets confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account and in the workspaces you belong to.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Add sites you do not own or are not authorized to have read and written for.
• Upload files you do not have the rights to use.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose, or to produce content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or spam.
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, credits, or rate limits.
• Probe, scan, or attack the service's infrastructure, or reverse-engineer it beyond its published documentation.

5. Content and intellectual property

You retain all rights to your sites' content, the files you upload, and the topics and posts generated for you. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you. ContentRails' product, branding, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.

6. AI-generated content and publishing

Topics and posts are generated by AI models using your site and sources found on the web. We check figures against the sources we retrieved, but generated content may still contain errors, and it can mention other companies' products. You are responsible for reviewing content before it is published and for everything published on your sites — including posts published automatically when you choose Full autopilot.

7. Plans, credits, and subscriptions

Each plan includes monthly limits on site reads, Project DNA writes, topic research, writing, rewrites, and publishing. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month and unused allowance does not carry over. Paid plans are billed in advance, and you can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing settings. Credits you purchase are used after your plan's monthly allowance.

8. Payments

We use Stripe for payment processing and never store your card details. Except where required by law, subscription fees and credit purchases are non-refundable.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service for accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your projects or account at any time.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of ContentRails is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
